A memorial service will be held for Jerry Price Collum at New Covenant Church (formerly Church on the Rock) on Sunday, June1st at 3:00 p.m. The visitation will be Saturday, May 31st at Rader funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Longview Metro Church. Jerry "Precious" Collum was a Godly man who touched many lives in so many walks of life. He served as a High School Principal for John Tyler High School and Troup High School. For the past 6 years, he has been ministering and serving at Longview Metro Church. He is survived by his wife Carol, his three sons Jerry, Jeff, and Jon, their wives Michelle, Cara, and Loralee, six grandchildren Brittany, Chandler, Abigail, Caleb, Elijah, and Colton, his father Lee Price Collum, and his sister and brother-in-law Donna and Price Wilburn. Jerry lived life to the very fullest, always wore a smile, and never turned away anyone in a time of need. His legacy will never be forgotten.
